mobo fan hearder

I am currently running .3A or 300mA off of an asus mobo fan header. From what i hear that is already on the upper limits of what I should be putting on there. I have been running this one for over a year with no probs. What would you guys say is the max a mobo header can take, from asus anyways.

I had my bigassed 80cfm delta on my mobo header for months and it worked fine. However, if you're really worried about it, you could pick up a Thermaltake Fan Controller or a Sidewinder RPM cable from sidewindercomputers.com
