My motherboard supports changing the AGP voltage. This means that If I wanted to add voltage to my card I would not need to volt mod it?

I am pretty sure this is true but I just want it confirmed.

Thanks in Advance.

No, the voltage regulator on your videocard is still controlling how much voltage is feeding to your card. Thats what the Vmodd is for, to over ride the voltage regulator so more voltage can pass thru.

The AGP voltage option in the BIOS is there because some mobo are not feeding stable voltage to the AGP slot, so if your AGP slot is undervolt, you can increase the voltage abit. And sometime when at high FSB, more voltage to the AGP can increase stability.

That probably only applies to AMD systems and cheap P4 mobos (read SiS)

ok. I thought somehow I could get around volt modding for more stability. hehe ok thanks
