Silicone trick suck or blow?

I was wondering will this work for the SVC Golden Gate 30??
If so do i face the fan blowing or sucking?
An how much of a difference in sound will their be?
I must say that is a cool trick

ya i did that on my gladiator w/ the delta. wow. delta was still loud, the 30 cfm fan will be ok w/ silicone i think.

i've tried this hs both blowing and sucking, it seems to work well both ways depending on ur overall case air flow.

delta is going to be loud regardless, but the silicone trick should remove the noise some.
