Did you try sitting it on a foam rubber pad?

I used a little bit of plastic packing foam. It is about 2 or 3mm thick, and mostly clear. I just squished it between it and the case, and tightened it down. No noise whatsoever.

I will be encasing mine in closed-cell rigid packing foam.

I considered Great-Stuff foam, and encasign pump in a box, coating the pump with spray wax or vaseline to help with removal later on down the road.

Stick some foam rubber under the pump and then bolt it down using the 4 mounting holes on the pump.
