case fans

i bought a cheap case for my first system, enermax 501w i think it is.
it has the holes to attack a front fan, 90 or 120, BUT theres the plastic case in front of it. do i need to cut a hole in the front panel if i wanted a fan there? thats right where the power and reset buttons are =( what should i do?

You should be able to take the front plastic bezel off. It could have screws or clip in. Take a close look at it and see how it comes off. I have never seen a case that the front bezel doesn't come off in some fashion (even the cheap ones).
