This is the exaust fan that I am talking about. So should I go about sending it back? or should I get a new fan and do it myself? It is about 9 months old so I don't know if it had a warranty or anything (bought from coolerguys.com)

Also if I was to put a new fan in myself, what can't I touch in there (I will have everything unswitched, unplugged and let it sit overnight before I do it)?

Thanks in advance, the sooner the answer the better.

Yeah you can try to replace the fan. I have done it a few times. Just be real careful not to touch anything. Just to be extra save let the PSU sit unpluged for awhile.

actually, I've replaced the exhaust fan on my Enermax PSU. I didn't buy the 'whisper' series, I had to replace the fan myself :)
I put in a Panaflo "L1A".
you won't even have to do any soldering :)
