Will Sandra 2003 tell me if my samsung ram is TRUE?

Sandra 2003 tells me I have pc2700 ram running at pc2700 speeds where as on my dad's machine, he has corsair xms 3200 cas 2 and his sandra tells him he has pc3200 ram running at pc2700 speeds which is true, it also says what kind of chips the ram uses

is is this information enough to determine if my ram is True Samsung?

Sounds like your dad's 3200 is not running at 3200 speeds. Sandra will post most types of memory.

yea I know, he set it that way... he can't run it at ddr400 on his epox 8k5a3+ without setting the CPUs FSB to 200, which he can't do.

does his bios have 3:4 for his mem? mab then u can run the mem faster :)

I can get my PC2700 sammy to run at 370MHz. But my k5A2+ won't give me turbo or 200 fsb. :( Gonna try Corsair 3200. :):)
