Subtracting the duplicate and wrong entries the total is below 10, regrettably. Not very informative IMHO.
I've started to notice a lot of erratic entries lately (speeds like 1875Mhz for a 2667Mhz CPU...) and some sorting problems too. Like in the 2.66Ghz list, there is a 3100Mhz entry all the way down, apparently because there was no comment added.
i'm getting two of them soon..will let ya know hoe it goes.

I just got mine. Have it on p4pe with corsair XMS3500. Was able to get 20x150 = 3000 at stock voltage (1.525) stable in 3dmark but not Prime. This was on stock cooling.
Got my clamp for my water block yesterday and hooked that up. Had it up to 165x20 = 3.3ghz had to up the vcore to 1.6 to get that. It looks like the p4pe over volts - mother board monitor shows it almost at 1.675 but the BIOS shows 1.6. I don't know which one to believe. Anyone have any idea?? with all the talk of Northwoods dying at high voltages i am hesitant to go any higher.
i tested through 3dmark last night and it was stable. Haven't done Prime yet.
Tried it at 170x20 = 3.4ghz with the same vcore 1.6 but it died going into windows at the voltage. I am going to do some research on the voltage issue before pushing it any higher. but i probably will.

I've just bought and started on my P4PE + 2.66 with Corsair XMS 3200 ram. I have an alpha 8942 hsf and right now I'm on stock.
I have no clue how to up the memory speed and CPU. What do I need to do in the BIOS and how much do you guys think can I overclock safely?

you have to up the FSB in the BIOS - by default it is set to auto and will set the FSB to whatever the chip needs it to be. You have to set that to manual and crank that up. Be careful though when you start playing with voltages you might break something.
You should go and find a beginners overclocking guide - search google. You should be able to get the basics from there.

cool thanx.
So far I've got 14xxx on 3dmark2001. Hopefully I'll do better once I overclock this baby. =)
I got my first 2.66 going stable at 3.20 stable after installing a new chipset cooler (Thermaltake Tiger @newegg) with active cooling on the northbridge chip. While testing at 3.00, i was curious about the northbridge and found out that the passive heatsink got HOT (too hot to touch). I am now stable at 1.7V watercooled.

My 2.66 runs fine at 150fsb (3.0Ghz) on 1.57 volts. Idles at 40C, maxxed out at 56C. Ran it once just to see at 161fsb (3.2Ghz) on 1.67 volts. Could probably go higher but don't want to fry it.

awwww, where's your sense of adventure ;) . 161fsb is the highest i got mine stable with the top vcore this board gives me (1.725, undervolts to 1.7), but right now im at 155fsb at stock voltage and cooling due to high temps, i have a swiftech on the way we'll see how high she goes then

Well i am up to running 3.2 all the time now. VCORE is 1.675 in the BIOS. the P4PE over volts at idle and then drops under load but they are around where i want them to be.
I am watercooled so temps are not a problem. i am going to push for 3.3 so we will see. I don't want to go much higher on the VCORE though considering all the talk of Northwoods dying at higher temps.

I cant get past 3.0 for some reason.
So far I've got my 2.66 to 2.9@145fsb and 387 on my pc3200 xms memory(2-2-2-5 or whatever the correct order is :P) I have an alpha 8492 heatsink with a ~38cfm 80mm fan on it.
Do I need to up my volts to reach 3.0 safely? 3dmark 2001 will stop in the middle, and hot cpu tester will stop. The comp does not freeze though.
Can anyone help me?

if 3d mark is freezing only when overclocked then you need to up th voltage. are you running at default VCORE?

yep. Haven't touched vcore yet. How much should I up from stock vcore to?

Just increase it by the smallest amount available and then test it again. If it's still not stable, increase it again and so on.

alright, I'll do that. Btw, what kind of cpu temp can I expect?
The CPU temp has never gone above 45 celcius according to sissoftware sandra. I guess alpha 8942 is doing it's job? :P

The Alpha is a good heatsink. I'd try to keep the full load temp under 50C. Higher can't really hurt the cpu much, but I have seen stability issues arise above that temperature... which kind of offsets the voltage increase.
