I have an AMD Duron 750@780, in a K7T Pro2 motherboard.
Im running my system at an average temperature of 52ºC, when playing games like Emperor: Battle for Dune, and 47ºC when in windows millenium.
Are this values to "hot" ? And what coolers can you recomend?

Thanks!

fairly warm, but not too hot. Better to drop it down more to help extend the life of the chip as well as give you head room to raise the mhz.

what type of cooling do you have?

When I had my Duron 650 @ 800 Air cooled it did not run that hot. I idled at 30C and 44C full load. Now that I'm watercooled at 1000mhz I idle at 30C and run around 48C full load.

I wouldnt worry about 52C it will be fine. Once you start looking at your temperatures you will never stop, i started 6 months ago and I cant stop, every 2 minutes i look at my temperature, its crazy. I keep trying to get lower and lower 56... 52.. 48.. 44.. 42..., and now my computer is so noisy! Why didnt I leave the super orb!?! Why! Just forget about it and go back to 750! Go, before its too late!
