When I am trying to install a game on my system, I get these two different errors....First, When I boot a game from my DVD-Rom drive, it says "An I/O Error Occured While Installing a file, this normally is caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installation file" When I take the same disc and install it on my CD-RW Drive, i get this message...."The Instruction at "0x004015f0 referenced memory at "0x454d4155" The Memory could not be "read" "

I really dont understand what is going on....any one have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mike

Is it only this CD-ROM, that doesn't work? Is it scratched at the data surface?
As the CD-ROM doesn't work in both of your drives, i'd say that there is something wrong with the CD-ROM, but i don't exactly know what. (I assume that the drives normally work correct)

It does it with a majority of my games...and the kicker is that none are scratched up!
