Antec fron window mod

Anyone know where I canfind the guide to adding a window to the front bezel of an antec case? I've been looking all over for one but cant find it:( Im also looking for a good place to buy some drives to match the color (blue..like everyone elses) of my case

lol, could make your own. That's what I did for my side window. I can't imagine it would be hard. You would have to cut the glass longer than the front and then bend it around, or use two different panes for the sides and then the front. What exactly are you trying to do? Or, where exactly?

well, I saw this guide a while ago, where a guy put an acrylic window in the front door part of his antec case..he cut out the middle part and glued the plexi in there....looked pretty cool. I have a matrix orbital 20x2 lcd id actually like to mount in there....but the door is curved and the lcd is flat (obviously) so i was thinking I'd try this window mod and attach the LCD to it maybe....just wanted the pics really

I did something similar to an Antec case, heres some pics, is this where you were talking about putting the window, where the front grill used to be?

not quite..although sweet mod!!! I have one of the antec/cheiftec cases with the door covering the drive bays..thats where I want to put the window

sweet! I've got a LCD I wanted to mod a window in the door for (same case). That link has motivated me to get off my azz and try it next week after finals :D

ok now that we all know that is a sweet mod, but the quesiton is if u mess up is there anyway to order a replacement just that front piece thingy?

hmm there is a bit of a problem i did this mod to my case a long time ago and there is only like 1/2" of clearence between the plexi and the cdrom drives...is that really enough to put in a lcd???

speaking of this hehe i actually did the mod so i could see my digidoc thru the front of my case without having to open the door... the idea just popped into my head caus i just finished my side window mod and had some left over plexi well i went to work took me about 3 hours cause it had to be ghetto considering i have no tools well at least not then hehe and it was like 2am when i started... well i finish it get some pics of it online the next day thinkin i came up with the idea and like 4 case modding sites had done it like a week before me :( lol

wow....good thing you brought up the clearance between the door and the actual front of the case...I hadnt taken that into consideration yet....from the front of the LCD to the back of the serial plug is actually 1.5 inches....so mounting it in the actual door itself is out of the question. looks liek its back to the drawing table:D
