my folding brethren. A few weeks ago my Leukeima stricken cousin received a stem cell transplant@MDAnderson Cancer Center.

Sadly however things are going south...fast...my parents have just left for Houston, as my cousin is now going through liver failure....

I would sincerely thank you all for your contribution to medical research; Your genorosity has, and is, keeping my cousin alive at the moment.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Fold on my brothers, fold on.....

I am sorry to hear that and don't really know what to say. I can say that I will keep folding for the cause, as the results will better the lives of many people, including myself (I having Cystic Fibrosis). My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Yes it is, and I am proud that our family scrounged up enough cash to admit here to MD Anderson, one of the best cancer clinics in the country. I'll post back when I get more info.

Well, I am to say the least, relieved. Its nothing too serious:
Her hemoglobin and platelet levels are nearly in the basement, and she needs a simple transplant/transfusion from a matching pair. Thank ye, Lord, :)
