Almost done with my system, just need to decide on a PSU... Tell me what you think I'll need:

MSI kt3 Ultra2
900mhz Tbird
512mb Corsair PC2100
ATI Radeon 9500 Pro
1 CDRW, 1 DVDRom
US Robotics 56k modem
Network card
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz

I think that's everything... Thanks for any suggestions :).

Btw, I was thinking about getting a Sparkle 400w. I'd like to stay under $70 (Less is better :D).

400w should be more than enough. I'm running a True 430 on the rig in my sig and I haven't had any problems.

You plan on overclocking a lot? Other wise I would say 300 is plenty! I had basically the same setup you are talking about running for 1.5 years overclocked to 1050 on a quality 250 watt power supply (I am sorry, don't remember which brand:() with no problems! I know most people will tell you to get the 400 or 350 to be safe but if you aren't doing any overclocking or minimal there IMO no reason to spend that much cash on a PSU. Save the bucks and you will be fine:) I have had a XP1500 oc'd to 1450 (it's been @1500 but gets too hot in the summer so had to drop it a bit) with a generic 300 watt power supply. It has been runnning stable @ 1450 for over a year with no failures. I might just be lucky?

Good Luck!

yeah, got a similar system as yours and i run 350W Enermax........b/4 i got it, though, had random shutdown problems - i would definitely stay @ 300W or higher........'specially if you add some big harddrives........

The sparkle 400 is plenty and then some. Like others said you could save a few bucks and go with a 300 or 350 if you buy quality and arent overclocking to the max.
