running the buss with a audigy1,2

im looking to replace my old sbl and was interested in how high these cards will go on buss.
having a 266a im running out of dividers. ;<)
im kinda paranoid after my old sbl started causing my system not to boot after 142 fsb.i guess not to bad for almost 4 yrs of oc'n.it used to run a 162 buss all day long.

A while ago I was overclocking a celeron 600 and had my audigy1 platinum up to 40mhz+ pci frequency. I don't know if I just got a good one or what but it ran like that for over a month without any problems.
Before that it was running on a system at 147 fsb.

its not like i have alot of choices though.i've been using the onboard sound and it will handle the buss but its only 2 channel and it definetly dosent sound as good.

well got my audigy2 in.
still cant get all the way up but can manage 156fsb now.i normaly run at 154 so this will work.:<)
unfortunatly i have to disable it to get my max of 162 out of my board.
oh well my old sbl value wouldn't go past 142 anymore so overall im happy.
