My XMS PC2700 RAM croaked (thing never even touch 166FSB) so I'm asking myself. Do I buy a different company? Or stick with Corsair (I would be getting 3200 this time around).

Not sure which 3200...but I know I want 3200. I want it to be a 512 stick. Ideas?

Gigabyte says that only DDR400 it takes in 512 sticks is

Kingston Winbond DDR 512MB W942508BH-5 2312D
I find that kinda hard to believe...

Corsair

Personally i would stick with the 512 pc 3200 corsair xms. I sent back my motherboard to newegg. Waiting for the new one. After that overclocking glory, minus the vid card.
Since my mother board fried , i also got my ram the 3200 rmaed and am waiting for those. When i had it up, i had no problem overclocking my ram with ga-7vaxp board.

get a free stick of corsair xms2700 in exchange for the one that died. you have a lifetime warrantee on that stick that croaked you know.

Umm after EXTENSIVE reading, on how PICKY this motherboard is on timings and 'Top Performance' and such, I set everything like I read to do and now...hehehh I'm running this 1600+@1748 ^_^ (9.5x184) that's as high as she'll go on default voltage. (which is were I'm staying)

Sorry for wasting your time gentlemen.
