for unlocking my xp2000, i'm gonna use crayon and something conductive. BUT!@! where can i find something conductive locally! radioshack's website doesn't have conductive ink, i might check store. circuit city, pcwarehouse, compusa, bestbuy i doubt will have anything i could use. i'm bout to just go get the defogger paint thingy. (but i'd rather not)

Defogger is the most redily available and safest thing I have found,I have bought 2 kits and ended up using defogger each time, it's cheaper too.

Defogger stuff is good. Electronics stores might have the pens, I know radio shack only has them available online. I haven't looked, but I would suspect that home depot might have something if you dig around long enough through their electronics/wiring department.

Your best bet is the defogger stuff, but I hated all the taping that went along with applying it.

I didn't tape and did mine by eye, unlocked 4 that way.

Yes, just about any carry it.

Yes, I too found that the easiest way to unlock is a defogger kit, crayon, VERY fine paintbrush, and a steady hand. It takes about 5 minutes.

I would have to suggest defogger myself... I have only used silver epoxy to date and its a real B*tch to work with... defogger must be better.
