Video card comparison

Just as the title says, I need to know which is better, an Asus G-force 2 GTS or an ATI Radeon 7000. Just don't know personally and I wondered. Thanks for all the help.:p

The radeon. I personally have one, and it rocks! It can even play the UT2k3 demo at 800*600 with MAX details :D

But an Asus GeForce (original) will also play UT2K3
Is this a matter of money?, if so I would suggest used. Nobody I know sells any pc part that is not good, hence I am sure honesty exists where you are as well and you could benefit froms someones upgrade.

Get the GTS. The Radeon 7000 is basically a renamed VE. The VE had no hardware T&L, 1 rendering pipeline and 64bit DDR ram. Very poor card when compared to a GTS.

The problem is that I have both, the GTS is in my wife's system and the Radeon is in mine. She plays less games, except for Elf bowling 3, which she is hooked on. I was wondering if I should swap the cards in my favor. Any ideas? Thanks again for the help and opinions.

Wait till she's out & then swap them. Chances are she won't notice.
