How accurate is SiSoft SANDRA's temp readout?

I noticed, while running my system on the AMD stock fan(doing a bit of modification to my WC setup), SANDRA shows proc temp as 42C. This is an XP1800+ Tbred on stock heatsink! Is it just me, or is that a bit too low?

sounds about right at idle.
u didnt mention which mobo u use that would help.
but mine a7v333 reads the on chip diode.
sandra reads the same temps as my bios.
mbm5 reads 5c higher than the others.

as for me i have to say sandra is accurate since reads same as my bios.

I'm using an EP-8RDA+. Does running F@H count as idle?

thats at load.and a good cool chip.
with that temp u have it oced at all? mabey im just used to my tbred A furnace.
