I just started useing the one provided by att broadband and it seems rather filtered ;) .. Are there any good free News Servers out there?

I think he meant newsgroups. Right?
Maybe your isp provides one. All the isps I've been with offered newsgroups with the monthly fee. *Edit: that you're paying anyway. Look up your isp on the net, and see if they offer newsgroups with your internet package. They'll tell you want the (url?) for the server is.*

Yes, I meant News servers that hold lists of newsgroups.. you know to trade pics of the fam and stuf :D...Omega Destroyer, I am useing the one provided by my ISP and it seems pretty limited..

Yah, newsgroups have been around since the late 70's or early 80's. You could think of the relationship as:

Forum is to news group as chatserver is to irc.
