should i get.. cause i do'nt want to have this fan/core anymore.....

and will temps just increase.. or will it reach a stable temp........ cause nothing is cooling the water.. :P

If you are just going to have a res then i think you would need a pretty large one to passively cool the water.

Like a 5 gallon bucket.

I did a big rubbermaid container, like 2ftx3ftx1ft deep, filled it more than half full and stuck a fan in the corner, 80mm 25cfm fan, kept water close to room temp, +/- 2c or so, works real good cept for the algea and all that junk

-edit- humidifier additives should help against this

would just a 10gal gallon drum be enough?

why no fan? and you want the maximum surface area to the air, thats the main key, the fan you cannot even hear, not at all, a 25cfm fan is like 21dba, thats a wisper
