hmmm. anti-aliasing does work anymore.

dont know why - all i did was install NVHardPage and now antialiasing doesnt work. its selectable, it just doesnt do anything.

im using the 41.09 dets if that helps

you might try reinstalling the drivers...thats pretty strange

yeah that the only thing i havnt tried. it really bugging me, because i KNOW that 4x FSAA at 1600x1200 should bring my lowly gf4 440mx to its knees, but its not doing a damn thing!!!!! arrgghhh. oh well, of to re-install drivers i go......

lol, yea that should criple it pretty severly.
If you run 3dMark and turn on AA within 3Dmark...does it work then?

havnt tried 3dmark yet - i tried a couple of games and there was no noticable difference in picture quality or frame rate between no fsaa on 4x fsaa at any res. one game had a benchmark built in - 51.3 fps with no FSAA and 47.9 fps with 4xFSAA at 1024x768

Have you tried downgrading your drivers? Maybe your card doen't like the 41.09's.

But at times like this my Windows 98 Boot Floppy gets pulled out and a format is set in motion lol :D

lol NOOOOOOOO way. ive got an 80gb drive with 100mb free, and no cd-cases left so i cant write any more cd's. It will be a cold day in hell before i format! lol

oh and yeah i downloaded the drivers again before i re-installed them. the funny thing was, before a installed NVHardPage, it was working perfectly.But, now, even after re-installing, it still doesnt work. hmm....
