I ran Memtest on a system today after getting loads of .dll errors, and it reported more than 800,000 errors by the third test.
Would it be safe to conclude that I need to try a different stick of DDR?
It'd be good to test it with a new stick of DDR. If you are running with 2 sticks of DDR, try removing one of the sticks and re-test your RAM, as only one module could be faulty.
That is supposedly a "new" stick, I bought it from an online store(can't remember the name right now, but I have a reciept here somewhere). Also it's only one stick of PC2100.
