one reason i can think of is if you are watercooling all the major stuff and have little or no airflow in the case.

its so ur caps and mosfets last longer and plus i heard of ppl overclocking and there mosfets just fall of like for example i take those post it thing (yellow sticky on tha back ) and u stick it on the wall when it gets too hot it falls off u see what i try to do dont u guys heard that ppl stuck in a p3t in a slot 1 mobo and it melts off after a while
