Came home the rig is powered down at lunch it was working fine anyways I reset the cmos and when I hit the powerswitch the fans just pulse off and on off and on took out the ram unplugged everything still the same thing I could use the help quick thanks.

As always, when having problems turning your computer on, have you unplugged the system from ALL power for at least a minute? At least 95% of "my computer isn't turning on" instances on my campus are fixed by unplugging, waiting, then re-plugging.,

Or, make sure when you reset your CMOS, that any jumpers or switches you may have switched are in their normal position. Many boards will not do anything when you try to turn them on and the cmos reset jumper/switch is engaged to reset.

thanks for the response well my friend brought over a P.S and well it worked but when my P.S went bad it took out my MOBO tested the chip, vid card, I didnt test out both ram chips ( what are the chances of BOTH ram chips going bad at the same time) but I did install them seperately and still nothing so since I got the MOBO up the street I will swing by there during lunch I managed to find everthing EXCEPT the dang reciept glad they know me so what board should I get next hummmm...... by the way I just bought a new Allied 400w dual clear fan P.S looks good just need a mobo now geeze maybe I should take up nitting.

I'd actually try a different power supply. Allied is made by (same as) a company that used to be called "deer". Their track record is horrendous.
