Hahaha. I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought of doing that!
I use those same tubs, but in black for storing my spare parts and
stuffs. I just couldn't find any backplanes for motherboard
mounting and proper screweing down of the cards...

That is awesome. I wish I had enough money to build another rig, but sadly I don't. Good job by the way.

I am definitely NOT a fan of ghetto mods. But I won't hijack this thread with a rant...

Ignore me, continue.

Rig of the Month. You submit it via email to input@maximumpc.com with pictures and a brief write-up about the machine, :)

great idea, but you might want to use a soldering iron to cut your holes. It will cut through that material like butter, but do it in a well ventilated area. Clean up with a razor knife and maybe some sanpaper. I guess if you get to involved then it wont be ghetto though.

You could stack a couple of those things up and have a folding farm...

BTW, what do you use for a power switch?

well i didnt take a picture of that , maybe i will later this week.

u might be able to see the type in this picture.
its the same type that under my main moniter and it just sits on top of the rack. with a moniter on top of that.
