Well, the processor's heat output, actually. If I raise the FSB speed, and lower multiplyer so that the clock speed stays the same, will the higher FSB speed increase performance? Also, would that increase heat output?

No. You would not be overclocking. However if you increase the voltage above spec you will increase temp.

It will have the biggest impact (performance wise) on your memory throughput. It will increase the heat output from your memory, and mostly northbridge chip. Not your CPU.

Well, that's good to know, because I increase CPU temps until I figure out why my comp refuses to boot when I have my watercooling system attatched, but works perfectly on the stock HSF.

Sounds like you need a casefan.
