I just applied AS3 and my temp went from 62 to 49 degrees.
I can run stable at 9,5*156 = 1484 mhz and get into windows at 150*10 = 1500 mhz.
Not bad i would say. I find out that i have a AXIA core. :D
But when i post at 151*10 i can get into windows but then it reboots. At 152*10 it even reboots while starting windows.
I'm already using my max. volt. 1.85 volt.
I think the problem is the volt. And that a voltmod can raise my speed over 1550.
I'm currently at 1484@temp of around 50 degrees.
Is it a good idea to perform a voltmod?
And with sisoft sandra i can almost outrun a 1800+ with cpu algorithm:p :)

Nice overclock.:) Take a look at the Doc's sticky in the AMD motherboard section, it has volt mods for many boards so you should be able to find yours there.

I know how to perform the voltmod. But is it a good idea to do it?

As long as you know how to do it because you'll end up with more Vcore options.

Yes, thats the plan.
Is it also so that the higher a proc. is overclocked the lower the temp must be to let it run stable.
Like this:
1400@65 degrees
1450@60 degrees
1500@55 degrees?

i would suggest looking into temps first, you should really try and lower these before you go any furthere with any volt mods, as every volt notch might even make a 5C difference which with an OCed proc isn't that good.

It was just an example to find out if the theory was right.
My cpu runs @ 50 degrees.

Yea, but as you up the vcore the temps rise dramatically, so before you go any further, improve cooling. Although it might still be stable. but just the lower the temp, the higher speeds you can get
