I upgraded my notebook to win2k, and when it was finished, I ended up with a 139mb "f" partition/drive and I have a couple of questions...
1: seeing as the partition is only 139mb, and I have 128mb ram, should I use thie logical drive as the pagefile? or eliminate the partition?
2: if I need to get rid of the partition, how do I get rid of it, and get back that much needed space?
Thanks in advance

What file system does it use? I've never seen 2kPro just create a partition without me telling it to.
Your page file would probably get a little bit bigger than 128MB. I'm up to 768MB sometimes, especially when I've got UEd 2.0 running (page file hog).
To remove it:
Open up Control Panel, go to "Administrative Tools", and open "Computer Management". In the list on the left, look for "Disk Management". This will show you all the partitions and disks on your machine. From here you can add, delete, format, and resize (sometimes) partitions. Be sure you know which one you're deleting though.
I don't think you can merge two partitions with Disk Management, though, if that's what you wanted to do. :(

You could use partition Magic to merge existing partitions, very user friendly.

Ok, the file system is fat32, and the main partition has only 389 mb free space.
Looks like I'll have to either get a bigger and expencive hdd, or get a pc card hdd...seen one(pc-card hdd) on Tigerdirect's W.S. for $79.00 U.S. 1g I think.
I could get more ram, but the old notebook has the "systemsoft" sub version of the 430 tx chipset, and I don't know if it can cache that much ram. I know that the "regular" 430TX chipset cannot cache more than 64mb, and my N.B. already has 128.
Thanks for the help:)
