You won't get much more out of a 500 k6-2, unless it's a very pure chip...even then, probably only like 533 or 550...

Maybe invest in a duron and new mobo if you're looking to overclock...should be able to pick up a duron 700 and motherboard for around $200--just a suggestion

oh! try and find out the cpu's code it's on the cpu's cap could be AFX etc.
