best detonators?

i saw a page asome ime ago that had the comparisons between all the detonators, and a the end said wich one was better for each case, and the better overall

im looking for that page, or any advice about the dets themselves


btw im running 29.42 now.. do i need the det nuker or can i just uninstall and install over them??

You can install the new dets over the old ones. I am using the latest ones (41.09?)with no problems. I actually got an extra 20-30 fps on some games in 3dmark because of these drivers.

41.03's are my choice..

30.82 seem to be quite nice for everyone, very VERY few problems with em. the 41.09 are probably the fastest out now, and many people have used them flawlessly.

My 3dmark score actually dropped by a 100 points when I installed the 41.09 drivers.

I use the 30.82 as I find them highly acceptable...last time I tried the 40.xx was in beta and it caused a lot of problems - although now they are certified I suppose I should try them out

The 40.72 seems to be the best for me. I tried the 41.09 but found out I couldn't play Americas Army with them.

right now using 41.09 and they are giving me good results in nearly all the games i am trying out (bf1942, splinter cell demo, rallisports challenege etc) i haven't tried running 3dmark2001se (for a long time now) will check and see what happens to be my score in it

I was able to get a little higher fsb without games freezing.

Now totally stable air cooled

If you want quality then use the Omega drivers based on 40.72. They are fast and great quality. Give them a try www.omegacorner.com

I just installed the Omegas, I wouldnt say they are "fast", lost over 1000 on my 3dmark score, these drivers are known for their image quality though, so Im going to up my card a little more on the speed and give it a try for awhile. Ive seen 40.72's do best on most comparisons, the 41's and 42's do best with AA and AF enabled.

edit: Okay, dissatisfaction here, I dont like the screen going black at startup while it changes the refresh rate, and when i tried to access my settings in my advanced/properties/settings I got an error message for awhile, seems to be fixed at restart though, hmph.

You'll lose some performance but the loss is less than when you enable Antiliancing and AF. For instance, with the 42.01 drivers I'm getting 9698 while enabling Quincox and 2AF. However, with Omega Driver 1.4072 I'm getting 10735 while enabling Quincox and 2AF.

I thought the Omegas were so you wouldnt have to turn on AA or AF, they had texture sharpening or something default that made them look better. I saw a pic of a comparison with everything turned off and the Omegas looked alot better zoomed in, I dont know how much I like them though, may try these 32.20's next.

It's true. But I think you still need to run AA. Personally, I use the drivers without AF but I enable quincux to get the lines more straight. Let me know how the 32.20's perform.

Mike i never herd of them so i tried them and am very happy whith image quality best drivers ive tried.
