HOLY CRAP that’s nice!! I think it looks real nice and it looks to be a new idea using radial fins I may just make something like it with spiral / cork screw type fins.
PS I love to be inspired, thank you

OMG !!!
How did you seal the connection between the AL and the CU part?

The connection is made with a precission of 0,05 mm and is sealed with a small amount of silicon.... Then the levers from the original Intel fastening system holds the parts together... Simply as that, just flip the levers.... ;)

Very professional looking Job.. congratulations and welcome to the forum.
What temps are you getting ? and can we have some specs of the rest of the watercooling system such as pump, rad etc.. please

Wow the machining is very well done! Very impressive!
My concern is that aluminum... but I'm sure you've anodized it or coated it...
That radial copper design is very novel. Could you elaborate more on it?
thats a beautiful chunk of metal there, your friend does good work. :)

Thx a lot..!!
Its not anodized , I have an "offeranode" (zinc rod) in the water to take up negative currents i the water.... Im sorry 4 my bad english , but what do u mean with elaborate..?

Cut down some of the tubing - like on center barb, you have the tubing routing all the way to the HD's then out the back of the case. There is absolutely no need for that If you cut down on the length of the tubing, your system will be more efficient.
Block looks sweet. :)

thx , .... Yes , im going to fix all tubings when I find a better one witch can manage all bendings inside..... Suggestions for a good hose , someone..?

I understand that the question asks for more information such as what made you choose that design for the water block, was it research, guesswork, or just a feeling. Basically why did it end up that way !

Ahhhh , ok…..
The idea came from an RC modell engine. As they get really hot and are air cooled , there must be a large cooling area. And large cooling area is what we all want.... So if I can use the principe from that engine and further improve the technique by letting the water flushing in down at the WB cooling surface (cpu contact area) it would be perfect.... Then the water presses out via the holes between the fins (4 holes / betweenfinspace ;o)) for escaping via the 2 outlets further to one NB and one GPU (soon to be mounted) cooling block... That was the idea behind it and I really dont know how effective it is because I havent had any other WB to compare to... And to compare numbers from different systems (MB , pumps , rad´s , room/water temps etc) isnt the right way , in my oppinion.... As Im sitting here writing this down the CPU is idling at 2900mhz/1,52V/28c..... And its Prime stable at that voltage too....Then only thing happening is , the voltage drops to apr. 1,48 and the temp rises to 36c... (19,8 room temp ,winter here in sweden) That was hopefully some more info.....

For those tight bends, check out ClearFlex or Tygon (R3603). :)
