I am getting the ASUS A7N8X Delux mobo with an Athlon 2600.
I was wondering if Kingston(pc3200) would be good for OCing?
thanks for the help.:D

I trust Corsair XMS3200 C2 sticks more than any other brand. Based on my own experiences with the brand, the product performs and the service backing the product is incredible.

Kingston is fine, but don't expect more than 200fsb CAS2.5

Corsair makes good pc3200 that works at cas2, and usually will exceed 200fsb. Their pc3500, though, seems to be having trouble with nforce2 chipsets, so I would avoid it.

What about 2 sticks of this?

Corsair PC3200C2 is no doubt fine memory. But the Kingston Value Ram PC2700 uses the same 6ns Winbond chips. Every example I have seen has exeeded 400MHz by a substantial margin, and done it at cas 2. I would expect the PC3500 Kingston is capable of exceeding 400MHz at cas 2 as well.

Fortunately the price of the Corsair has relaxed as of late. When it was over 200 bucks for a 512MB stick I wouldn't have even considered it. At the current price it is more reasonable. But the Kingston ram, even the very inexpensive Value Ram 2700, is of comparable quality at present. Kingston has their act together at this point, something I could not say of them a year or two ago.
