ok say i bought this (http://www.m-audio.com/products/m-audio/delta410.php) card. what kinds of wiring would i need to plug it into my hometheatre. i have an older pioneer amp and speakers. it doesn't have RCA's it's the kind that you run the wire to and hold the plastic clip open and shove the bare wire in.

should i look into getting new speakers with a polymer cone and rca's in the back?

Which connectors are you talking about?
On the amp or on the speakers?

you have to use RCAs to plug into a receiver and have the speakers run foo the receiver

Amp with no rca?
Hmm must be really old or really pro...
Did you try to call customer support?
I'd give it a try.

here's what I do:

1. Get an old headphone-->rca Y-cable and cut the RCA ends off

2. Put the bare wires in the "sockets" if you will.

3. I test the insulated and the wrap around wires in the black and red ones to make sure I get the pos and neg right. usually the insulated wire goes in the red socket, but one reciever I had was opposite.

4. Listen to the goodness :)

Just a bunch of RCA cables. You know, the kinds that come in white yellow and red. It's all mono to plug into your receiver.
