can i run a ddram CL2.5 as CL2?i mean i set the CL2 in the bios but the original ddram is CL2.5,any effect?

only 1 way to find out and it looks like u've done it already. running at cl2 makes the ram run faster leave it on cl2 if ur system is stable.

if the ram will run at that setting then do it. i never heard of anybody damaging thier ram by setting a lower CAS timing. the only side effect is you'll get a lower FSB overclock like that, ram doesn't OC as high when you have it set to aggressive timings.
