Installed my 9500 Pro card just the other day.

It seems to play Unreal Tournament, and UT2003 (the only games I've tested so far) without any problems...and it's very fast!

It will NOT run 3dmark at all. I'll admit, I don't have a lot of experience with this program...so I suppose it's possible that I'm doing something wrong...but I'm running just the default settings in the program. 3dmark2001SE crashes on the "Nature" benchmark every single time I run it.

Also, I seem to be having some text corruption. It's not very often, but it's something that never happened with my old GF2. It happens when moving a window, or when a new window pops up. And it only seems to happen to the windows task bar, and windows pop-up windows (I guess that's what they are called? Like, the gray boxes that pop up that ask you "are you sure you want to download this file?", etc). It's not that bad, I suppose...just a nuisance (I paid $200 for this card and it can't do TEXT right!?!?!?!?!? ). The text is still readable, just looks slightly garbled.

I tried slowing my FSB down to default. I tried the drivers that shipped with the card, and the newer drivers from ATI's website. I'm running at 1024x768, and I let windows pick my refresh rate.

Any ideas? I'm thinking problems like this will probably subside as the drivers mature. Just thought I'd drop a line in here and see if you guys had any ideas.

Just got mine yesterday. I gota say I love it too... I have only had one prob and it is giving me fits. I can't get Wolfenstein to work at all. I have tried everything that I know of. I haven't had a single instance with the problems you are talking about. I ran 3DMark fine. I was very supprised too! Now I know my old score was real bad, even for a Hercules Phrophet, but a 1950???

Now I am above 8000... Still not great I know but what a jump for just one card!

Ive had absolutly no problems with my 9500 Pro...well, one, but it was my fault (flashed to the Warp11 BIOS...things got screwy, all fixed though :) ). To tell the truth, with how so many ppl were saying the card has tons of problems, i was expecting something to be wrong...but it all works 100%, and i get about 11k in 3DMark

gahdzilla try the newest drivers from www.omegacorner.com/Ati they have been running very well for me

colplink, if you are using the Cat3.0s and DX9 this is a known issue, Opengl games wont work unless you use different drivers, again the drivers at omegacorner should fix this

I bought "No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy In H.A.R.M.'S Way" yesterday. It seemed to crash every time I ran it. Not sure if it's related to the other problems or not.

Anyway, I tried the drivers you linked to funnyperson1. Every time I tried to install them, I got a pop up window saying that the drivers were not compatible with my video card. I tried the newest omega's, and one version older. I'd like to try them out...do you have any ideas?

I installed DX9 (I was using 8.1), and turned off AGP fast writes, per a suggestion I got somewhere, can't remember where...maybe omega's site? Anyway, that got NOLF2 running without problems, but didn't help the other problems. (and that's a game you guys should DEFINATELY check out...lots of sneaky stealthy James Bond kinda stuff)

No big deal, the problems were VERY minor...and this card REALLY rocks!
