mouse help plz

any1 know a good link / site, with an in depth walk thru on how to identify what wires are what in a mouse, i wanna jam some leds on mine, but dont know where i have to solder. total n00b to this side of modding, any help appreciated :)

already seen that diagram, not too specific tho is it, my mouse is different it has the same sorta chip he connected to tho, wanted something a little more specific. but thanx all the same mate

are the colours in the ps2 cord universal ? if so what are the colours for the +5v and earth ?

NO they certainly are NOT, tell me what kinda (Brand/type) mouse you have and I might be able to help you.

its an old qtronic lynx 99 3d mouse, i been to the site and searched the net for a guide but came back empty : /

well i found the +5 and graound by jamming wires at the pcb !!! turns out my bro has got my soldering iron tho : / cant attach lights now : /
