ive got an asus geforce 2 mx with tv out..... and an abit BH6 mobo. and a 120 watt power supply. 2 optical drives, one HD, 1 fan. windows XP SP1. there is nothing in my first pci slot either, abd ive tried reformatting and trying to fix this, but it never works.. the card i use now instead is the good old ati rage pro turbo. and i cant seem to uninstall those drivers now... both products give me trouble :s

ive been tryin to figure out how to make this stupid card work for a long time!!!!! no matter what i do.. i cant get it to work..... tried again today.. most i coudl make it do is load into windows with 800 x 600 res and a low(4 bit ) colour

other then that.. it would work fine in safe mode, and normally i cant get it to even load into the log on screen for windows!!!! whenever the log on screen is supposed to come on... the screen just turns black, and then reboots.. and then when it reboots, for some strange reason it sometimes doesnt detect the HD!!!!! so weird:S have never seen this before on any system and havent seen anyone on this forum complain... so if anyone has any ideas how to fix this problem, plz id really appriciate it!!!

Hey bud, chances are it's your PS not putting out enough power.

that is probably the case, but when i unplug everythign ( including fans ) and still try to run the vid card.. it still doesnt work... maybe it still needs more.. oh well.. i just installed nvidia drivers alongside ati drivers, and now my ati card doesnt work :S oy... need new PSU i wonder if i uninstall the nvidia drivers, then my ati card would work agian? worth a try i guess..
