even that has been surpassed, havent had time to update yet;) ...

but yes, even for your system that seems a little low, my friend has a PIII733 with an 8500LE and gets around 5000.....did you follow the instuctions in my guide? a reformat would help greatly you should get around 5500-6000 with that system

Yeah.... i'm kind of scratchin my head about this one too.

I've got an OEM 8500 with 64 mb ram, 250 clock/ 250 memory. Consistently scores 10000 in 3dmark2001 se in following config:

intel 2.8@3.43 ghz (163 mhz fsb)

512 mb corsair PC3500 @ DDR434 usin 3/4, using cl 2.0

8500 @ 265 clock/ 265 memory





I think your set up might be capable of higher than 5000

jsut to tell u guys my old computer p3 450 clocked at 558mhz with my radeon 8500le 64mb 301/602 and i got 3999 for the computer i almost bet urs just to tell u and also if only my dad would let me put it in his computer i wuold have got alot of 3d marks and if i changed my headsink i can go more also ur score anit bad for a computer like that :clap:
come on its better then my old rage card i use to have under 300 sumthing hwen i use to have that comp with the rage i was ****ed till my dad got his new computer that i choose for him then he got the new video card for me

Whats the problem, that is a good score for the system, now it is time to try tweaking it up a bit one step at a time.
My Cellery 1 gig gets the same score so I am sure you can tweak your way to 6000, or just play and enjoy your nice graphics improvement.

i believe so, but still with your system you should be getting around 5000-5500....

um..................... too bad my sec rig doesn't support agp , or else i'd install my card on it.... i perfer celly 1.7gig over pentium 866, particularly the ddr
