On some ddr mem specs you see a 32x64 or 64x64. What does that mean? Att newegg.com there are some pc2700 sticks, both 512MB. One is Kingston for $126 (32x64) and a Dane-Elec (64x64) for $128. What is the diff besides makers?

is that Kingston one double sided? cos (32x64) / 8 = 256...

but that 64x64 would be 512... it refers to the density of the memory, the 32x64 would probably be better as the less dense the more you can overclock

that is my understanding of this - if anyone wants to clarify/correct please do :)

well I should imagine it would be 32x64x2 or how ever you would express double sided using that, I only recently read about that and I should read more really but well, im in a rush to learn everything else :)
