Can i mount a w/b without mounting holes?

O.k. this is my first time doing a water cooling setup, and i have been looking at a lot of waterblock designs, and most or all seem to use these holes on their mobo. I don't have any, seeing as i have a Gigabyte 7VAXP Ultra. It is socket A and i have an Athlon XP 2000+ in it. The cooling fan that came with it isn't doing too well. I was thinking that mabe i could somehow use those funny looking tabs on the side of the socket. Has anyone done this before, and if so, can you tell me how? I will try and get a pic of it for reference.
