okay
Geforce 2 mx 400 w/tv out 42.01 dets(stock speed, overclocked no difference)
nimo codec 5.8 build
w2k
**everything in computer at stock speed**

when watching a avi file it freezes within 2 minutes of watching the file... i have tried using drivers from 28-42 and have the same problem with all...

i unstall the drivers each time i try a new one...

im kinda stumped and need to record some of these avi files to video tape (don't ask/tell me to make vcd's) but first i gotta figure out why its doing what its doing...

i also have a Gefore 3ti200 but that has s-video out and i can't find my adapter to composite (if that even is possible)

dump the "nimo" codec's and get some new ones of another maker like the 'divix 5.2" and give it a shot my friend had the same problem and this worked for him.

Something gets corrupted in these files on my computers regularly. I have no clue what it is. I have found that if I uninstall nimo & windows media player and reinstall them, the problems go away.

After uninstalling, try uninstalling windows media player, restarting, and reinstalling media player, then the codecs.
