Ive been trying to run this @ cas2 but it dosent seem to want too
IE: system locks or freezes

what can I do to get it to run in cas2

I have the voltage @ 2.65 right now should I bump it up to 2.75 & try cas2 again ? will I fry it ?

Try with 2.8v.. you wont fry it.. what fsb are you running?

Generally speaking Crucial loves Vdimm. I would try 2.8 or 2.9V.

ok cool Ill try that my fsb is only oc by 3 lol because Im still on this duron chip wich is not unlocked (heard it was a tough Unlock)

anyway Im getting a unlocked 1800/1900/2000 xp t-bred soon not sure wich one probly 1900 then Ill be able to get the FSB up too par was holding off for the 1800+ Thoroughbred B AXDA1800DUT3C


All the timings are set aggessivaly in the bios except the cas2 setting wich is @ cas2.5

Gona go pump up the vdimm & see what happens will post results

Ok raised the vdimm to 2.85v thats the max in this bios

its now @ cas2
with all settings for the ram set aggresive
DDR is @ 166

FSB is now @ 105
ratio is 3.2.1
Multi is X12.5/13

Id try unlocking this Duron but Its coming out in roughley a week
so I dont see the point of it

any other tips or suggestions would be welcome


its @ 1365 mhz right now with no unlock I might try to squezz it a lil more but i know its ready too not boot soon I can feal it lol
my vcore is @ 1.75 should I raise it as well ? I think it can go too 1.90

hardware doctor is freekin out its NOT happy about the vdimm setting LOL

Well I tried for FSB 106 x 12.5/13
ratio 3.2.1 @ 1.85v but it froze @ the desktop almost had it too 1400 with no unlock hehe

I bet this thing could oc well if it was unlocked

I think the durons just require the pencil trick to unlock the multipliers have a look here, its easier than te XP's ill tell you(and the others too)
