I don't know if they're out yet or not but it's just a Ti4600 w/ AGP 8X support however they are real.

Just a marketing ploy by nvidia to hold them over till geforcefx is released. No need to rush out and buy it hehe.

lol, agreed, i wanted a agp 4x and only had an agp 8x for my msi card, cost $30 more then the 4x and no performance increase at all... :S

Shouldn't you be able to squeeze more on the 8x when OC'ing the card?

Nah there just isnt the need out yet for a 8X interface, there is little or no preformance increase.

hahaha what idiots there are on ebay, someone is paying 270$ for a card that would be crushed by the similarly priced 9700/Pro
fyi: The Radeon 9700 does not have true agp 8x support. It will run at agp 8x, but does not truly take advantange of it. Don't ask me to explain more, I heard it from my cousin. (Yes, I would definitely believe him)

You would THINK the 8x agp is a good thing.. but i'd say its not! Even with a card that fully supports 8x and a mobo that fully supports 8x, I don't think it will get good performance. In my opinion all 8X AGP motherboards are terrible..
Even if your video card and motherboard support 8x agp, the 8x mobos that are out right now won't overclock that great or perform up to better standards. I bet my 1.8A could get much higher if it were on a different motherboard, like the bd7ii or p4pe maybe..
It would be interesting to see somebody test current motherboards that support 8x agp against ones that have 4x using an 8x video card.. i'd bet that the 4x would knock it out!!

Well, ur cousin is 100% wrong. Taking advantage of 8x AGP has NOTHING to do with the card, and EVERYTHING to do with the games u run on it. Besides, u wouldnt WANT to have to use that 2.1GB of transfer rate. The ONLY time AGP speed really matters, is when ur onboard video memory gets full, and it needs to use system memory. However, the bandwidth between the system memory, and the 9700 Pro, is 2.1GB...knocked down from 20GB between the core and the onboard video memory...hmmm, no matter if u have 16x AGP, 32x AGP...they will ALL be way to slow for even today video cards. If u have to actually run on system memory, no matter what card ur using, ur going to get HUGE slow downs.
