I will be getting a free radiator soon (I think it was either the Black Ice, or an Innovatek Dual Fan radiator) I will also get a cheap socket A water block (from Innovatek)... but I don't feel like spending $100+ for my Athlon XP 1800+. So I'm going to have to buy my own water black for my P4.

This is what I picked out so far:
Reservoir (really neat!!!) $25
Eheim 1250 (Is this worth the extra $9.50 over the 1048???) BTW, please help me look for a cheaper price for this pump too.
Danger Den Maze 3 $42
Water Wetter or Purple Ice (please link to the cheapest dealer =P)
Can I buy some tubing at Home Depot/ Lowes (tygon)?

Any advice appreciated =)

All that will go into this computer:

Reservoirs tend to be more of a leak hazard then a simple T-fitting.

I've been hearing bad things about water wetter and build up in tubing.

Buy the best pump (most head) you can afford! You won't regret it. I've looked for Tygon tubing in Home Depot but I've never been able to find any. Just order from one of your online vendors.

Good luck and tell us what you end up doing!

Thanks for the replies guys.
So do you recommend Purple Ice instead of Water Wetter?

Okay....what else do I need?
My w/c system is going to be running on 1/2 inch tubes.

This is my list:
Maze 3
Probably a 1048 pump, maybe a 1250.
The rectangular reservoir I posted in the 1st post of this thread.
Tygon Tubing
I should be getting a radiator (for free :p)

Do you guys think the reservoir is okay? I thought the point of having a reservoir is getting the bubbles out....?
And do I need adaptors/fittings/ clamps (and which ones?)??? Will cable ties work for clamsp?!?

Thanks again.

Don't skimp on something as important as hose clamps!

Leaks could mean POOF, need new (insert favorite expensive item)!

Do you guys think it's safe to put food coloring into the water?

BTW, Wanster, what did you mean by a simple T-Fitting? Are you saying that I don't even need a reservoir?
