question about overclocking

whats locked for when u want to overclock a celeron or a P4 the motherboard or the cpu?

Well, with intel you "can't" use the unlocking method on the retial or OEM CPU's, so it's the CPU's that is locked, accept for in the ES, but you gotta work for Intel to even get your hands on those, there are other ways, but ones which Intel does not permint And your only limited to options by you MOBO.
