Starting my second rig

Hi friends, i am staring my second rig, but i dont have much money, so i connected a 3\4 to 1\2 adapter in the in let pump hole.
It is a 515 gph pump. my question is :
is tottaly submersible pump(here in brazil we dont have in-line pumps )
but via aquas manual says that it can only be run submersible.
Should this pump survives ??

I do not know about the pump, but what kind of water block is that, did you make that?

via aqua says only submersible.. but lots of people run it inline
