Drivers for 9700pro

What are the best drivers for the ATI 9700pro?
I currentl am using Omegas catalyst 3.0 driverd with directx 9.0 and I am having problems with some games like Neverwinter nights and battlefield 1942. Thos games are locking up on me.

Trial and error my freind see what works the best and use them. I use the 2.5 myself without a hitch.

Are you using DX9.0?

I use the Omega Cat 3.0s and ive got no problem in any of the games i play (NWN, BF1942m UT2K3, RTCW, NFS:HP2, and a hell of a lot more, hehe)

Thats odd. Those games should work fine with the omegas. Perhaps you might want to try the 2.5s with dx8.

do you think it might be a sound issue. I'm using the nforce2 chipset and drivers with it.
