does the amout of ram you have
have anything to do with overclocking

say i only have 64mbs of ram would that affect how high you can overclock?

No
However, most high end ram (i.e. corsair pc3200) only comes in 256M sticks and up.
Also, If you are using more than 1 stick, you are dealing with the weakest link principle. The ram that is the worst ocer will be the bottleneck.
