using the standard connection or DVI???

I've tried my Radeon 9700pro with both the standard output connection and also the DVI connection, and I can't really see the difference. Anyone else have any views as to which is better and why?

You don't have an LCD with DVI inputs do you? If you did you would notice that the DVI connection is much more crisp and brighter than the VGA connector.

Yes, I do, it has DVI and VGA inputs. It also shipped with both cables.

My video card (9700PRO) has dVI and VAG connections
My 18 flat screen monitor also has both VGA and DVI connections.
