ok...i know i need a new video card but i can't figure out why this p.o.s. video card won't let my computer boot properly. last night i re-lapped my hs. no problems. put everything back together just now and booted. the cpu was detected but then i decided i would just hit the power button to shut it down so i could get the side cover back on. now when i turn on the machine all i see is the video card info and a blinking cursor. that is all. running win2k as well. ctrl alt del doesn't do anything and when i hit the reset button to try to boot again i see the same thing. tried to remove and reseat and had no luck. can't get into the bios either. what gives? is my already crap video card crapped? any suggestions would be cool.

do you have your speaker hooked up? if you can see vid it is not the vid card (MOST LIKELY)...i would assume it is something else

well you need to plug in the speaker first off then you prolly need to hold ctrl down after you press pwr. or you can just reset the cmos and go from there.
